German "Black Widow" Luger "byf 41", 9mm auto military pistol. Serial #1270r, mfg. in 1941 by Mauser. Very good condition. Nicknamed "Black Widow" by American GI's. Appears to be refinished with 90% blue with areas of blotchiness and holster and edge wear. Markings and letterings are blurred from being polished for the reblue. “41” on chamber ring and three Waffenampts on the frame. 4” barrel. Bore has strong rifling but is pitted. Black bakelite "Black Widow" grips are in good shape with some wear and smoothness. Original non matching, WWII "fxo" marked magazine is in fair shape with a dent in the body and several hits on the aluminum base and fading to the numbers. Includes 1944 pebble grain holster in poor condition, but adds value. Much Nazi history here! C&R OK.

Japanese Arisaka Type 44, 6.5mm cal. bolt action military carbine. Serial #00635, mfg. in Kokura Arsenal in Japan. Very good condition. Standard Jap issue during WWII. 20" carbine length barrel with strong rifling, but some darkness. Made at Kokura arsenal and is a First Series production. Strong 90% blue finish with light scattered pitting, mostly on trigger guard. Mum has been ground on the receiver. Bolt is non-matching, but is in good operating order - has some age discoloration to the finish. The folding bayonet is in excellent condition. The stock has numerous dings as would be expected for a combat weapon. Very rare and desirable Japanese rifle. Much WWII history here! C&R OK.

Includes original S&W red cardboard box with instructions on inside lid in very good condition. Factory letter confirms configuration and indicates shipment on October 7, 1878. "Eagle N" marked along with "Eagle 37" on the left trigger guard. 90% matte blue finish with heaviest wear on the grip straps. Black bakelite grips show a little wear; the left grip has two cracks radiating from the grip screw to the edges that have gone all the way through. There's an additional area on the left grip that appears to be an old repair. Magazine is in good shape with heavy wear on the Sauer & Sohn marked base. A neat German officer's sidearm from WWII. Stock and forearm have well-worn finish with numerous hits and dings, worn checkering and chip at toe of butt. Original butt plate is chipped at toe.
