Marlin Ballard "Custom", .38-55 Winchester cal. single shot target rifle. Serial #11038. Very good condition. Restored with a replacement 30" custom heavy octagonal barrel with and excellent bore. Tang mounted target peep sight and front globe. 95% blue finish on the barrel. Faded case colors on the receiver with some scratches. Sharp markings. Dual set triggers. The action appears to operate nicely. Satin smooth wood forearm is very good with hits and scratches. Stock is very nice with some scattered scratches and finish wear. Curved steel butt plate. Nice custom target rifle that should be a blast to shoot. C&R OK.

Husqvarna Model 33, unknown cal. single shot rolling block rifle. Serial #52892, mfg. Sweden. Very good condition. These were made in a number of calibers from the 1800s into the 1900s. This one is approximately in the .35 cal. range but were not certain of the exact caliber. 29 1/2" octagon barrel has excellent rifling with some frosting, fixed front sight and flip-up adjustable rear sight. 95% blue finish on the barrel with some spotting to the finish. Very nice case coloring on the receiver. Has a full forearm stock with some scattered impressions and marks. Smooth wood stock is good with some impressions, marks and light wear. Steel butt plate. Includes sling swivels, missing the rod. C&R OK.

U.S. 1860 Staff Field Officer Sword. Mfg. The Pettibone Bros., Cincinnati, OH. Good condition. 30" etched blade is in good condition with some age spotting in the mid section. Has standard pattern etching with U.S. on one side and the American Eagle on the other with both sides having a military motif and floral pattern etching. 37" overall length. Engraved brass handle and fittings are very good and has a folding guard. The animal skin grip has some fading and wear. Nickel scabbard with two suspension fittings, the lower has one ring and the top has two rings. Brass drag with crossed arrows and stars. The scabbard shows age and fading to the plating. Comes with a high end gold knot with braided ball. Considering the age this sword is in very nice shape. Lots of military history here and a great piece of American military history.
