Winchester Model 42, .410 ga. pump action shotgun. Serial #102924, mfg. 1953. Excellent condition. 26" Simmons vent rib barrel is choked Cylinder. Bright bore. Bluing is 99% and very nice, but pins are a bit flat on the left side of the receiver, so some rebluing could have been redone when the rib was fitted. Stock is very nice and smooth and proud over the tang metal and the checkered hard butt. Nice smooth action. Appears to have been shot very little. Tight action. Ivory mid bead and orange Raybar type front bead. 3" chamber. Very nice looking and crisp! Vent rib Model 42's are highly desirable! C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
