Colt Model 1911A1, .38 Super cal. auto pistol.  Serial #172246, mfg. 1965.  Very good condition.  5" barrel has a bright and shiny bore, fixed military sights.  95% high gloss blue finish with some high edge finish loss, mostly on the right forward part of the slide and some light scratches on the left side of the slide.  Colt checkered hard rubber grips are in very good condition.  Factory Colt marked magazine is in very good shape with some finish wear.  Tough to find these early Colts in .38 Super caliber.  Should be a great shooter and also have collector value.  C&R OK.
