Savage Model 99G, .300 Savage cal. lever action take-down rifle.   Serial #245326, mfg. 1923.   Excellent condition.  24” barrel has excellent bore, gold bead front sight, folding leaf rear, with correct Redfield receiver sight on tang.  Barrel has 93% original blue with crisp address margins.  Receiver has 80% original finish with edge wear.  Lever has 75% original case colors.  Stock and forearm have excellent original varnish and checkering, correct steel butt plate.  All matching numbers throughout.  An absolutely exceptional 99 – doubtful that it has ever seen the deer woods!  A real screamer!
