U.S. Springfield Krag Model 1898, .30-40 cal. bolt action military rifle.   Serial #203497, mfg. 1899.  Very good condition.  30” barrel has excellent bore, correct blade front sight, Model 1902 rear sight.  Barrel and receiver have very good original finish with light wear, crisp markings.  Stock has very good finish with few light handling marks.  No cartouche visible.  Stock hardware is excellent. Nice old leather military sling.  Bolt action works perfectly, of course.  Original 1898 pattern bayonet is excellent.   Metal belt scabbard has some surface rust.  Beautiful, complete Krag outfit in exceptional condition!   Lots of U.S. military history here!
