U.S. Rock Island 1903, .30-06 cal. bolt action military rifle.   Serial #260941, mfg. 1918.  Good condition.  24” barrel has clean shiny bore with slightly worn rifling.  Dated: “1-19”.  ME is “2”.  Barrel and receiver have 50% original finish with crisp markings.  Floor plate is a later replacement.  Stock has old refinish with few light handling marks.  Bolt action works fine – a good shooter.  This is a “low numbered” receiver!  C&R OK.
