U.S. Remington Rand 1911-A1, .45 cal. auto pistol.   Serial #1875114, mfg. 1944.  Good condition.  5” barrel has very good bore.  Slide has good polished finish with crisp address markings.  Raised front and adjustable rear target sights installed.  Frame has good polished finish with crisp “United States Property” and “FJA” markings.  Front strap has been checkered.  Checkered wood grips are a replacement.  Colt commercial magazine.  Action works fine – a good shooter!   C&R OK.
