Winchester Model 70, .22 Hornet cal. bolt action rifle.   Serial #51470, mfg. 1942.  Very good condition.  24” barrel has excellent bore, hooded ramp front sight, rear is blanked.  Barrel and receiver have 93% blue with crisp address markings.  Matching numbers bolt.  Trigger guard and floor plate have show some wear.  Stock has very good finish and checkering with several light handling marks, nice figure.  Correct checkered steel butt plate.  Fitted with Weaver K4 4x scope with clear optics and plain cross hairs in Weaver rings.  Bolt action works fine.  Very nice Pre-War Model 70 in a desirable caliber!  C&R OK.
