Mauser Model C96 "Red 9", 9mm cal. auto pistol.  Serial #60506, mfg. Germany.  Very good condition! Beautiful Broomhandle.  All numbers are matching including grips.  5 1/2" barrel is very good with strong rifling, but some light pitting. Adjustable rear sight.  80% blue finish with some light freckling and holster wear.  Wood lined grips have the "Red 9" indicating 9mm vs. the standard 7.63mm caliber.  Matching "Red 9" grips are in very nice shape with a few nicks and scratches. Lanyard ring is present.  No visible import marks.  A very nice example. Lots of German military history! C&R OK.
