Winchester Model 70 Standard, .270 cal. bolt action rifle.   Serial #115924, mfg. 1949.  Very good condition.  Super pre-64 Model 70 in the spirit of Jack O'Connor! 24” barrel has excellent bore, correct sights, 97% blue with light muzzle wear.  Receiver has 95% blue with light edge wear.  Trigger guard and floor plate show light edge wear.  Stock has very good finish and checkering with few light handling marks.  Correct checkered steel butt plate.  Matching numbers bolt works fine.  Fitted with Bausch & Lomb Baltur-B 4x scope with plain cross hairs, clear optics.  Beautiful classic M70 outfit!   "The Rifleman's Rifle".
