Winchester Model 54, .30-06 cal. bolt action rifle. Serial #32324A, mfg. 1930. Very good condition. Grand old Model 54 that was the forerunner of the famous Model 70 and this specimen is in quite good shooting shape! 24" barrel has a very good bore. Finish is 90% with some fading on the receiver and some patina setting in on the floorplate. Long extractor. Lyman peep rear sight. Post front sight with brass accent. Stock is nice and smooth and appears to have been refinished long ago - checkering is smooth. Stock repair on left side of stock wood below bolt (see photo). Nice mechanics. Ready to hunt! C&R OK.
