Marlin Model 47, .22 short, long & long rifle cal. slide action rifle.  Serial #3518, mfg. 1930-31.  Excellent condition.  22” barrel has excellent bore, fixed open sights, crisp markings, 97% original finish.  Receiver and trigger guard have excellent fading case colors with edge wear.  Stock and forearm have excellent varnish with couple minor handling marks.  Forearm has diamond shaped groove in bottom.  Nicely curved butt plate.  Slide action works fine.  Very rare - these were never catalogued and offered in exchange for stock.  Nice addition to any Marlin collection!  C&R OK.
