Winchester Model 70 Standard Grade, .220 Swift cal. bolt action rifle.   Serial #83677, mfg. 1948.  Very good condition.  26” barrel has excellent bore, 85% matte finish with light muzzle wear, crisp address margins.  Ramp front sight, rear is missing.  Receiver has excellent original finish.  Trigger guard and floor plate have 75% finish with light edge wear.  Stock has very good original finish and slightly worn checkering, thinning around comb area, with some light handling marks.  Correct factory sling swivels  Fitted with vintage Weaver K8 scope with clear optics and plain crosshairs in classic old Stith external adjustable amount.   Bolt action works smoothly.  A wonderful vintage M70 varmint outfit – correct in every detail!   C&R OK.
