U.S. Remington Model 1903A3, .30-06 cal. bolt action military rifle.   Serial #3552247, mfg. 1942.  Excellent condition.  Standard early GI issue during World War II. 24” four-groove barrel has a very good bore with just slight wear, dated: “3-43”.  ME is “1” which is excellent. Barrel and receiver have excellent parkerized finish.  Correct stamped steel trigger guard and floor plate.  Stock has very good finish with crisp inspector’s marks, numerous light handling marks.  Stock hardware is excellent.  Bolt action works fine.  An excellent 1903A3 – correct in every detail!   Take it to Camp Perry and earn a medal!
