Smooth wood walnut grips are in very good shape with some light hits. Lanyard ring present. Locks up well. Looks like it was holstered more than it was fired. The letter indicates it's a Navy Contract shipped from the factory August 27, 1942 and delivered to the U.S. Navy, Oakland, CA. Super collector piece from WWII. You don't see many early Navy Victory Models on the market these days. C&R OK.
