U.S.M1 Carbine, .30 cal. semi auto military rifle.  Serial #3689843, mfg. by IBM.  Good condition.  A favorite and iconic battle carbine from WWII and beyond.  18" IBM marked barrel has a very good bore, fixed front and adjustable rear sights. 70% thinning finish on barrel and receiver.   SG marked flat bolt.  U marked bolt carrier.  No visible markings on trigger group, marked CC M on magazine release.  Amco marked front barrel band.   Wood stock is in good shape with some hits and use, marked SAA on the side and SCB in the oiler well.  Handguard is also marked SCB.  15 round magazine is in fair shape.  Modern canvas sling.  Good representative sample of the famous M1 and made by IBM.
