Mauser Model 1896 "Broomhandle", .30 cal. auto pistol.  Serial #310100, mfg. Germany.  Good condition.  Mixed non-matching serial numbers.  War time commercial frame.  5" barrel has a good bore with light frosting, fixed front and 50-1000M adjustable rear sights.  Refinished barrel and slide have 80% bright blue finish with milling on both sides of the slide rail.  Frame has 50% blue finish that is turning from age.  Wood lined grips are in good shape with more wear and hits on the right grip.  Lanyard post is in place.  Appears to function fine.  No visible import marks.  A neat piece of WW1 history.  C&R OK.
