Jap. Arisaka Type 99, 7.7mm cal. bolt action military rifle.  Serial #43638, mfg. Kokura Arsenal in WWII.  Good condition.  Standard Jap troop issue during World War II. Mum present on receiver.  Matching numbers.  Late war variation.  26" barrel has a very good bore, fixed front and rear sights.  70% thinning blue finish with overall wear.  Most of the wood stock is very good with scattered wear.  The wood butt plate is in poor condition and was likely exposed to moisture.  No provision for cleaning rod.  Leather sling is in fair condition with some paint stains.  Near last ditch rifle.  C&R OK.
