Walther P-38 "byf 43", 9mm cal. auto military pistol. Serial #2859g, mfg. by Mauser in Nazi Germany in 1943. Very good condition. Standard Nazi officer issue during World War II. This specimen is all mismatched in serial, but has 90% blue with wear on the grip straps and triggerguard. Vivid Nazi markings on the "byf 43" slide. 5" barrel has an excellent bore. Nice tight action. Brown bakelite grips are very good, but grip screw is incorrect (easy fix). Lanyard loop. Fixed sights. WWII Nazi magazine is marked "P-38" with Waffen proof mark. Excellent choice for shooting and re-inenactment! It's the Real McCoy! Much Nazi history here. C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
