German Luger 1906 DWM "American Eagle", .30 cal. (7.65mm) auto pistol. Serial #66740, mfg. Germany.  Excellent condition.  Wow, we don't see a lot of these!  Unique Luger with "American Eagle" on the chamber ring created especially for the American public that was drooling to get their hands on the then "new" and exciting Luger! Matching serial numbers.  Made for the American market pre-WWI.  4 5/8" barrel has a really nice bore with just light frosting, fixed sights.  90% blue overall with high edge and grip strap wear.  Straw is 95% on the takedown lever, trigger, extractor and safety selector.  Unique model with rear grip safety.   Matching checkered walnut grips are in excellent condition.   Steel body magazine with unnumbered wood base is in great shape also.  Stamped "Germany" for export on the frame by the serial number.  Super Luger for your collection!  C&R OK.
