U.S. Springfield Model 1922 M2, .22 long rifle cal. bolt action military training rifle. Serial #3532B, mfg. 1930. Very good condition. This one started life as a MI then later upgraded to the M2 variant. 24" SA barrel is dated "5-30" and has an excellent, shiny bore. Parkerization is 98% and very nice! Bolt is marked "NS M2" on the handle and "M2" and "D 28223-2" along with the serial number eletro penciled. Lyman rear peep sight is correct. Unmarked magazine is correct with 3532B electcro penciled on the side . Sling swivels and leather military sling. Walnut target stock has some nicks with "AA-BC" arsenal marks on the left side. Barrel band. A great addition to any WWI military collection! Highly sought after and a gas to shoot! C&R OK.
