Marlin Model 97 Deluxe, .22 short, long & long rifle cal. lever action rifle.  Serial #371262, mfg. ca. 1904.  Excellent condition.  24” octagonal barrel has excellent bore, gold bead front sight and open rear, 95% blue with crisp address markings. Receiver and hammer have 90% case colors remaining.  Stock and forearm have very good original finish and checkering with numerous light handling marks.  Correct butt plate and contoured classic Marlin pistol grip.  Lever action works fine. An exceptional example, rarely found in this condition!  C&R OK.
