Colt Model 1877 "Thunderer", .41 Long Colt cal. double action revolver. Serial #26661, mfg. 1880. Antique. Very good conditon. Mighty fine "Thunderer" that was the choice of a "hideout gun" on the Frontier. This specimen is all original and beautifully preserved with 90% nickel finish, very good bore and vivid markings. 3 1/2" barrel. Fixed sights. Black hard rubber grips shows smoothness in the checkering as expected, but Rampant Colt is vivid and there are no cracks. As usual, the single and double action and indexing doesn't work well ("Better call Sal"). Birdshead grips. Great piece of Frontier history! Super display piece. Antique.
