Smith & Wesson "Pre-17" Model K-22 Masterpiece, .22 long rifle cal. double action revolver.  Serial #K5309, mfg. 1947.  Excellent condition.  6” pinned barrel has excellent bore, ramp front sight and micro-adjustable rear, 95% blue with some light muzzle wear and few fine scratch marks.  Frame has 96% blue with slight edge wear. Cylinder is 95% with light index marks.  Case colored upswept hammer and trigger are excellent.  Matching serial nos. on barrel, frame and cylinder.  S&W square butt grips have excellent finish and checkering, matching serial nos.  Four-screw frame.  Double action works fine and locks up tightly. Beautiful, early K-22!  C&R OK.
