U.S. M1 Garand, .30-06 cal. semi- auto military rifle.  Serial #5881328, mfg. Springfield Armory, 1955.   Very good condition.  24” barrel has excellent, shiny bore, dated "5-55".  M.E. is “2” and the T.E. is “3”.  Muzzle has been re-crowned.   SA trigger group, op-rod and bolt.  Barrel and receiver have 80% military finish with edge wear, crisp markings.   Stock has been sanded at some point, numerous light marks, cartouche barely visible.  Action works fine.  An excellent shooter.  C&R OK.
