Colt Model 1877 Lightning, .38 Long Colt cal. double action revolver.  Serial #154753, mfg. 1904.  Good condition.  Matching serial numbers.  Factory letter indicates shipment to A. Baldwin & Co., New Orleans, LA., November 15, 1904.  4 1/2" barrel has a very good bore strong rifling with frosting, fixed sights.  Most of the blue finish has turned to a nice even patina, but all markings are clearly legible.  A few hits to the base portion of the barrel on the left side.  Single and double action work fine with tight cylinder lock up.  Factory brown checkered plastic grips are very good with smoothness.  A very nice example and it still works.  Relive yesteryear with this vintage Colt revolver.  C&R OK.
