Savage Model 99, .303 cal. lever action rifle. Serial #149823, mfg. 1914. Very good condition. Nice pre-War '99 with 26" round barrel and lots of bright blue. Barrel is 90% blue with some freckling. Receiver sides are 80% blue and then the usual wear on the bottom carry area. Good tight action. Brass cartridge counter. Cocking indicator on top of receiver. Buckhorn rear sights. Brass blade front sights. No case color left on lever. Perch belly buttstock has just a few marks. Schabel forearm has nice figure as well. Crescent butt. A dandy! C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
