Walther P-38 "Mauser", 9mm cal. double action military auto pistol.  Serial #4117g,  mfg. Germany by French Forces.  Very good condition.  Matching serial numbers.  This is a post war assembled P-38 from left over WWII parts and issued to the French military forces.  5" barrel has a fair bore with some darkness and pitting, fixed military sights.  No slide legend for maker code, but has the French star on the right side of the slide along with "9mm".  96% blue arsenal refinish with only light wear.  Brown bakelite grips are very good.  Post War P-38 magazine is in very good condition.  Double action work fine, but hammer is not engaging trigger properly in single action.  Should still make a great shooter or re enactor pistol.  Import marked on frame.  C&R OK.
