Winchester Model 1894 Deluxe, .30-30 cal. lever action rifle.   Serial #70351, mfg. 1899.  Excellent condition.  26” octagonal barrel has excellent bore, 90% blue with crisp address markings.  Sighting equipment consists of Marbles gold bead front sight with flip-up white bead, Winchester three-leaf rear express sight, Marbles rear tang sight. Half "button" magazine.  Receiver has 85% original deep blue finish with some edge and carry wear.  Action screws are excellent. Lever has traces of case coloring.  Stock and forearm have excellent finish with capped pistol grip, extensive crisp checkering, curved rifle butt plate.  Lever action works perfectly.  Cody factory letter confirms configuration and indicates shipment on Oct. 19, 1899.  A fabulous, deluxe 94 – rarely seen in this condition!  Collector quality!  C&R OK.
