Smith & Wesson Model 28-2, .44 Special cal. double action revolver.  Serial #N80070, mfg. 1972.  Like new condition.  Appears to be a conversion from .357 mag. to .44 Special caliber as was commonly done in the early 1970's when the Model 29 was IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ("Dirty Harry" was released in 1971).  Reblued and fitted with the Patridge front sight and target grips to resemble the Model 29. N-Frame. 6” barrel has mint bore, patridge front sight and micro-adjustable rear.  Barrel and frame have near 100% bright blue finish.  Cylinder is 98% with index marks. Goncalo Alves target grips are like new.  Gun appears unfired.  S&W mahogany hard case has numerous finish marks, contains cleaning tools.
