Stevens Model 44 Walnut Hill, .22 long rifle cal. single shot target rifle.  Serial #2625.  Very good condition.  28” heavy round barrel has very good bore with slightly worn lands.  Barrel has 75% original finish with crisp markings, target scope block, globe front sight and Lyman micrometer receiver rear.  Frame has traces of case color, crisp markings with excellent screws.  Wide target forearm and butt stock have very good original finish with few light marks, steel butt plate.  Action is tight and works perfectly.  Fitted with Nobuck Thompson canvas sling. Fabulous old target .22!  C&R OK.
