Winchester Model 70 Super Grade, .270 cal. bolt action rifle.   Serial #127974, mfg. 1949.  Very good condition.  24” barrel has excellent bore, correct sights, crisp address markings, 97% blue finish.  Receiver has 95% matte finish with crisp markings, Weaver scope bases installed.  Trigger guard and floor plate have 60% finish with carry wear, correct “Super Grade” mark.  Stock has very good original finish with extensive checkering, correct forend tip, butt plate and cheek piece.  Finish is thin in some places with some very light handling marks. Matching numbers bolt works smoothly.  Nice leather carry sling in correct Super Grade sling swivels.  A beautiful, straight and honest Super Grade!  C&R OK.
