U.S. M1 Carbine, .30 cal. semi-auto military. Serial #4829163, mfg. by Quality Hardware in 1944. Excellent condition. Standard U.S. officer issue during World War II and this one is a matched dandy with 98% parkerization! Parts count: Receiver is Quality Hardware, Underwood barrel is dated "1-44", trigger group is "Q-NL", hammer is "LI-Q", sear is "GE-Q", trigger is "LT-Q", magazine catch is "EP-Q", rear receiver catch is "RO-Q", round bolt is "EM-Q", op rod is "DA-Q", barrel band is "Q-TK", stock well is "Q-RMC", stock has "Crossed Cannons" stamp on right side, oiler is "IQ", sling is unmarked WWII issue, magazine pouch is "J.Q.M.D." and dated 1942, muzzle cover is "Robey Tackle Co." and dated 1944. Three 15-rd. magazines are also Quality Hardware and their marks are: "G-Q", "UQ" and "UQ". Handguard is two rivet and marked "Q-RMC". No rebuild marks. This was a late war Quality Hardware M1 Carbine - from the serial number block assigned to Quality Hardware. Super investment piece! Lots of history from the Big One!
