Colt Single Action Army, .38-40 cal. single action revolver.   Serial #269803, mfg. 1905. First Generation. Very good condition. 4 ¾” barrel has excellent bore, fixed sights, 50% bright blue.  Frame and hammer have 10% remaining faded case colors, good screws.  Cylinder has little remaining finish with heavy index wear. Grip frame has 30% remaining bright finish.  Original hard rubber grips are broken on one side and are included.  Replacement hard rubber grips installed.  Single action works fine with tight lock-up.  Colt factory letter confirms configuration and ship date of 8/21/1905. A wonderful old Colt!  C&R OK.
