U.S. Winchester Model 52D Target, .22 long rifle single shot competition rifle. Serial #109666D, mfg. 1963. Excellent condition. Mighty fine 52D with "U.S." markings, so was probably used lightly as a military trainer. 28" heavy barrel has an excellent bore. Single shot. Fitted with the excellent Redfield Palma rear target adjustable peep sight and the Redfield International globe front sight. Heavy walnut stock is excellent without marks and has a sample target of this rifle's accuracy taped to it (see photo). Bluing is 98% and wonderful. Tight action.
