Parker DH Grade, 12 ga. side by side shotgun. Serial #144649, mfg. 1907. Very good condition. Interesting DH Grade that was sent to Germany and was retubed with Krupp barrels, but retains the original Parker rib - "KRUPP" is stamped just before "steel" in the text line (see photo). Bright bores. No mention of choking in the consignor's notes, but the Parker Serial Book indicates this DH left the Parker factory with 30" tubes. Pointer dog is engraved on the left side of the receiver and a setter on the right with flushing game birds on the receiver bottom and plenty of scroll (see photos). Receiver is bright without case color. No. 2 frame. Top lever is dead center. Double triggers. Extractors. LOP is 14 1/8" over skeleton buttplate. Fancy black walnut has great dark waves and just a few hunting marks. All matching iron. Splinter forearm. Brass front bead. Parker Brothers marked pistol grip cap. Checkering shows some smoothness, but is elegant and striking. An American Classic! C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
