German K98 Mauser "S/42", 8mm cal. bolt action military rifle. Serial #9391, mfg. 1936 in Nazi Germany. Very good condition. Standard Nazi issue to infantry troops. A nice numbers matching Mauser without import marks. 24" barrel has an excellent bore with strong rifling. Blue finish is at 30% with some pitting and freckling. Pre- war stamps and Nazi proofmarks on receiver and barrel. Walnut stock is matching with “Army” mark.  Exception build quality.  Good tight action. adjustable military sights.  Early steel plate butt. A nice original example from the Pre-War build up period.
