Manhattan Navy, .36 cal. percussion single action revolver. Serial #6760, mfg. 1862 in Newark, New Jersey. Antique. Good condition. Looks very much like the Colt 1849 Pocket with 4" octagon barrel. Bore is fair. Mostly a gray gun with 50% scenes on the non-fluted cylinder. Mechanics are OK, but timing is just a bit off. Matching serials. Walnut smooth grips are very good and shiny. Brass triggerguard and backstraps. An interesting little revolver that sold quite well during the Civil War. Really so small it is a pocket model. Much history here! Antique Gunrunner West item.
