Smith & Wesson Model 29-2, .44 magnum cal. double action revolver. Serial #N425687, mfg. 1977. Very good to excellent condition in wood box. Nice "Dirty Harry Era" Model 29 when they were impossible to get - especially in nickel! 8 3/8" barrel has an excellent bore - has been shot very little. Black adjustable rear sights. Orange insert in front ramp sight. Nickel finish is very good, but the usual minute marks and scuffs on the soft nickel finish over the years from being carried up in the rough stuff a few times. S&W gold monogrammed checkered target grips have plain figure and have some deep gouges on the bottom panels (see photos). Wide checkered target hammer and wide grooved trigger. Original mahogany box has a nice blue tray, cleaning rod with copper brush and swab (used), screwdriver and original shipping paper. No manual. A real freeze-frame of the 1970's when the Model 29 was king and STILL IS KING IN MY BOOK! Gunrunner West item.
