Walther P-38 "byf 44", 9mm cal. military auto pistol.  Serial #1730a, mfg. by Mauser in Germany, 1944.  Very good condition.  Matching serial numbers.  Standard Nazi officer issue during World War II.  5" barrel has an excellent bore, fixed military sights.  95% blue finish on slide and marks with some marks and scratches.  90% blue finish on frame with mainly grip strap wear.  Black lined plastic grips are very good with scratches and light impressions to both panels.  Late war "P.38v" marked blue magazine is in good shape with cleaning and finish loss.  Nice WWII sidearm from the big one!  No import marks.  C&R OK.
