U.S. M1 Navy Garand, 7.62 NATO cal. semi-auto military rifle. Serial #11754564, mfg. June 1943. Excellent condition. Standard GI issue during WWII and Korean War. This beautiful Navy M1 started its life during World War II in June of 1943. Then it was fitted with an SA barrel with a date of "5-65" and then converted by Harrington & Richardson to 7.62mm and so marked on the barrel (see photo). The bore is shiny and excellent and ME is 1.5 which is exceptional. Fitted with National Match front and rear sights with aperature. 98%++ parkerization. Tight action. National Match stock is excellent with no marks, nicely matched and beautiful medium-colored walnut. NM marked op rod. SA bolt. SA trigger assembly. Green web sling. This is one gorgeous M1! Wow! Couldn't imagine a better one! Will earn you a chest full of medals at Camp Perry with these National Match upgrades and this wonderful bore! C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
