Winchester Model 71 Standard Grade, .348 Winchester cal. lever action rifle.   Serial #40155, mfg. 1954.  Excellent condition.  24” barrel has mint bore, ramp front sight, buckhorn rear sight. Barrel has 97% blue, with crisp address markings.  Lever and receiver have 96% blue with very light edge wear.  Stock and forearm have excellent finish with minor handling marks, one noticeable ding in right side butt stock.  Correct steel butt plate.  Nice vintage leather sling.  Action works perfectly.  An excellent M71!  C&R OK.
