Mauser P.08 (S/42), 9mm cal. military auto pistol. Serial #5878a, mfg. by Mauser, Germany in 1937. Excellent condition. All matching numbers except, for magazine, which is three numbers off. Standard officer issue in WWII. 4" barrel has an excellent bore, fixed military sights. 98% blue finish with light high edge wear. Slide is marked with Eagle/63, dated 1937 on the chamber and S/42 on the toggle. The wood checkered grips are near excellent with some impressions. Blue body magazine near matching aluminum base is very good with some finish wear. Super nice early 1937 example. C&R OK.
