Description
German Luger "Erfurt 19181", 9mm cal. military auto pistol. Serial #1726m, mfg. by Erfurt in 1918. Very good condition. Matching serial numbers including the magazine. Standard officer issue in WW1. 4" barrel has an excellent bore with just light frosting, fixed military sights. 85% blue finish on the barrel and slide with general light finish loss and typical high edge wear. 80% blue finish on the frame with most of the wear being on the grip straps. Erfurt marked toggle with the crown and 1918 dated on the chamber. The side plate has high edge finish wear. Excellent straw finish on the trigger, safety, takedown lever, extractor and faded on the push button of the magazine release. Extensive proof marks on most parts, which is characteristic of Erfurt made Lugers. Unnumbered toggle pin, which is correct for this model. Wood checkered grips are serial numbered to the pistol and are in great shape with just light wear. Steel body magazine with matching serial number wood base is in very nice shape. Wow, really nice all matching WW1 Luger. Great addition to your Luger collection. C&R OK.
