U.S. M1 Garand, .30-06 cal. auto military rifle. Serial #3830207, mfg. Springfield Armory in 1945. Excellent condition. Very nice later production U.S. M1 Garand from World War II - standard GI issue. Barrel dated "05-45". Bore is shiny and excellent. M.E. is 2 and the T.E. is 3. Lock bar sights. Walnut stock has been refinished with no visible markings. SA trigger group,  NM op-rod and bolt. Parkerization is 95% with finish minor edge wear. Good tight action. “The finest battle implement ever devised” according to General Patton. Much WWII history here! C&R OK.
