Excellent condition. 23 1/2" ribbed barrels have excellent bores, fixed front sight and dual bank rear sights with a fixed sight and a flip-up "50" sight and the forward bank having a flip-up "75" sight. Has a forward scope mount and a block in place of the rear scope mount. Includes scope rings. Greener boxlock. 99% blue finish on the barrels with just light finish wear on top of the rib. Blue engraved trigger guard. Excellent detailed engraved silver receiver with a leopard and elephant scene. Signed "Kroth" in small letters on the left rear of the receiver. Dual triggers. The action locks up solid. Has an ordnance mark at the top left of the frame. Colt marked burgundy checkered plastic grips are very good with a small chip at the lower edge of the left grip. C&R OK.

"HP" marked 5" barrel has a very strong bore with some frosting, fixed military sights. "U.S. Property" and inspector marked on the frame and also "Model of 1911 U.S. Army" marked on the slide. 90% blue finish with some high edge, muzzle and strap finish wear. Often referred to as the Black Army as these later WW1 pistols were not polished like earlier pistols. Correct and very nice WW1 walnut checkered grips with diamond pattern around the grip screws. Comes with three unmarked factory two-tone magazines that are in very nice shape. Has a lanyard loop. Combat veteran of WW1 and possibly later. Well cared for 1911! C&R OK.

Action is tight as a safe. Barrel selective tang safety. Checkered walnut Schnabel forearm and adjustable comb stock are excellent with soft recoil pad. 14 1/2" LOP. Excellent condition. 26" octagon barrel has an excellent bore, fixed hooded front sight, adjustable barrel mounted sight and tang mounted adjustable rear peep sight. Also comes with a second adjustable rear peep sight that mounts to the tang. 99% blue finish on the barrel and excellent case coloring on the receiver with some light peppering to the finish. Smooth wood forearm with Schnabel tip and smooth wood stock are excellent. Checkered steel butt plate has some surface rust. Well made high quality rifles.
