Starr Arms Double Action 1858 Army, .44 cal. revolver.   Serial #7870.   Very good condition.  6” barrel has excellent bore, fixed sights.  Barrel and frame have 70% remaining blue finish wit muzzle and edge wear.  Crisp address markings.  Cylinder has edge and index wear.  Case hardened hammer, loading lever and trigger.  Percussion nipples are excellent.  Matching numbers on cylinder and frame.   Dark walnut grips have very good excellent finish and inspector’s marks.    Double action works fine.   An excellent example of this rare Civil War revolver!   Antique, can ship to your door.
