German P-38 "byf 43", 9mm cal. auto military pistol. Serial #3955o, mfg. 1943 by Mauser in Germany. Excellent condition. Standard Nazi officer issue during World War II. Historically significant P-38 produced by Mauser during the height of the conflict with all matching serial numbers, brown bakelite grips (excellent) and excellent bore. Finish is 95% with some minor edge wear and wear on the front strap. Vivid Nazi marks on right side of slide. Lanyard loop. Works great! Magazine is marked "P-38" with Nazi proof mark - very good condition. Black leather holster is in fair condition - holes at the muzzle and magazine pouch, "44" dated. Lots of Nazi history from the Big One. C&R OK.
