U.S. Remington Rand Model 1911A-1, .45 auto cal. automatic pistol.  Serial #1958872, mfg. 1944.  Excellent military condition.  Standard U.S. officer's issue during World War II. 5” barrel has excellent bore, marked “HS”.  "FJA" inspector's mark on left side of frame. "Crossed Cannon" arsenal mark on frame. "U.S. Property" marked. Slide and frame have 98% parkerized finish, crisp markings, couple light rub marks.  Issue maroon plastic grips are 100%. Includes magazine pouch with two extra magazines.  Box of 50 rounds GI ball ammo.  They don’t come any better than this!  Lots of World War II history here! Great collector piece! C&R OK.
